Hello March! For some of us, this month sure did roar in like a lion; rain, snow, never-ending gusts of wind. Here at our refuge, we survived fine, although I did look out the window expecting to see Dorothy flying by in her house, once or twice. The wind kept the animals on edge, so we had a few rough spots here and there. Also, the temperature drop was unnerving. The past week for me has been very, meh. My chronic injury was flaring up and that kept me down, plus the gloomy weather didn’t help. Thankfully I always have my stitching and reading to distract me.
As far as stitching goes, I am still working on the Spring Quilts piece. If no problems arise today, I should finish the current quilt pattern during the Nascar race. Then will switch over to the Into The Jungle SAL. This month’s block is an adorable tree frog that I can’t wait to stitch up. Here’s a peek at my stitching Thursday night while watching Big Bang Theory with the hubs:
Yesterday, I finished reading Henna House, which was a fabulous book. Even still today I am processing what I experienced reading the book. Look for my full review and thoughts coming up this week.
There is not much else for me to share this week, because, like I said, it has been a meh, kinda week. Although, I did have a chance to watch The Emoji Movie, for the hundredth time. If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend doing so, right now it is streaming on Netflix. Personally, I find the movie to be extremely creative and entertaining. Check out this preview:
That’s all, for now, I hope you have a great week &
thanks for taking the time to read my post.
