Happy Sunday! How is your week going? Hopefully, all is good with you. Here at the refuge, we have been trying to keep things calm and peaceful. Spring is almost upon us and that means it is time for spring cleaning and spring break. Due to my injury, spring cleaning takes me a few weeks to complete, and it probably isn’t as detailed as others, but it is enough to get rid of the winter cobwebs. Hubby is itching for spring break, teachers need a reprieve too! Next weekend we have our annual Marriage Renewal Weekend and we are looking forward to having time away together.
Today I am excited to share with you my third finish of the year and it is fully finished! Love Potions is stitched, beaded, cut, backed, and magnetized! Here is a look at my stitching on this lovely Mill Hill kit:
Now, some may think that small projects like this don’t count as a finish, however, I am not a member of that camp. This year I have many large projects I am working on, including a year-long SAL; having small finishes like this throughout the year helps keep me motivated to keep stitching and gives me that sense of accomplishment and having completed a piece.
My first two finishes of the year were the August & September motifs in Year of Celebrations.
What are your thoughts on small finishes?
That’s all, for now, I hope you have a great week and thanks for taking the time to read my post.
