Happy Wednesday and welcome to another weekly update on my cross stitching. I hope this finds you well and enjoying life. This week I have been trying to enjoy the beautiful weather we have been having, in anticipation of the predicted week of rain upcoming. Thankfully, I also made time to stitch and finish a good book, An Invitation To Murder (look for my review on Friday).
Into The Jungle
As I expected, working on the May block for the Into The Jungle SAL did get me back into the swing of things. This adorable crocodile was really fun to stitch up and I am excited to see what June will bring.
Roseland Cottage – New Start
This year I am trying to incorporate new starts throughout the year to keep me on track with my 2018 Stitching Plans. Today I will be starting on Roseland Cottage by Nancy Spruance Designs. Actually, I think I have managed to collect the whole architectural series by Nancy Spruance Designs over the years, but this will be the first one that I stitch. When I kitted this project, I chose a 14 count Aida in Tycho by Picture This Plus. I think the pink and rose colors in the house will really pop off the fabric.
Well, that’s my stitching this week, thanks for checking in & happy stitching!
