Happy Wednesday and welcome to another weekly update on my cross stitching. I hope this finds you well and enjoying life. This week I have been working on Roseland Cottage by Nancy Spruance Designs. If you missed it I did a post on Sunday with my initial reactions to working with this pattern, so make sure you check that out if you’re interested.
In order to work on this, I have been stealing brief moments of stitching time throughout the day. We’re having some really miserable weather out here in North Carolina intermittently rain and thunderstorms. I actually don’t mind rain, I enjoy the sound and smells of a nice spring rain. However, we’re having full on thunderstorms, which of course makes the doggies very scared and extra clingy. I only have two hands, but four dogs that want to be on my lap curled up during the thunderstorms. That makes it a little difficult to stitch.
Nonetheless, I have gotten what I feel to be a pretty good start on Roseland Cottage.
This piece is bringing me a lot of enjoyment, and I think I will give myself time today to get a few more stitches in before I switch projects.
The next project in the rotation, which will come out tomorrow, is Fabulous Women in History by Cloudsfactory. Unfortunately, I haven’t worked on it since February, so we’ll see how much I can get done this upcoming week. Look for my update on that next Wednesday.
Well, that’s my stitching so far, thanks for checking in & happy stitching!
