Happy Wednesday and welcome to another weekly update on my cross stitching. I hope this finds you well and enjoying life. This week I have been working diligently on Fabulous Women in History. This was the 2017 SAL from Cloudsfactory, but due to stash and monetary restraints, I had to wait until this year to get started.
When I started off in January, I thought that I might do each monthly segment based upon how they were released during the SAL. However, as I haven’t had a chance to pick this project up since February, I’m realizing that I might work faster if I work from the whole pattern. So that is how I am approaching this moving forward. So far I have finished up Amelia Earhart and have a good start on Frida Kahlo.
Here’s a look at my progress:
If my wrist stops acting up I think I might be able to finish Frida before I switch projects. Oh, that’s something fairly new, my weekly rotation schedule has changed. Instead of working the rotation Monday to Sunday, it makes more sense to go Wednesday to Wednesday, in line with my weekly update posts. So far it’s working out pretty well and either tonight or tomorrow morning I will be switching off from Fabulous Women and bringing out my Spring Quilt piece. Haven’t seen that one for a while.
Well, that’s my stitching this week, thanks for checking in & happy stitching!
